Benefit For Brandon

This video is a compilation Host Reel for my friend, Brandon Schantz. Brandon graduated from UT with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and went on to do great things as a sports reporter for a TV station in Wyoming and then went on to LA and got involved in hosting and directing music videos. He was a total talent and an amazingly sweet human being. Sadly, on December 6th Brandon lost his battle with cancer. He was 27 years old. His passing has left a lot of people reeling and has inspired a group of dedicated friends to put together a benefit for Brandon to raise money for a Journalism scholarship at UT in his name. The benefit will be held at the Roxy in Los Angeles on March 6th and will feature musical performances by The Whigs, Rooney and Brett Dennan – totally fitting being that Brandon was an avid music lover and directed a video for Rooney as his last work before his death. If you live in LA and want to attend, you will be celebrating a beautiful life cut too short and contributing to the legacy of a remarkable man.
