My hair is currently the longest it has ever been in my entire life. And while I would love to think that my long mane looks like a brunette version of this, it doesn't. Yet, I am still ambivalent about cutting it. Frustrated by it, I am contemplating a little snip. Mandy Moore's hair sure is looking cute. And I still love Sophia's.

i can do the mermaid – which means it covers my boobs.
it'll grow back. i took the plunge a couple of months ago and it sucks the first week and then you'll be obsessed.
I'm in the same boat and am debating chopping it but then I know I'll be sad that I did!
I chopped it and then I wanted it long. It's been growing for 18 months now. I want it short again. But as soon as I cut it, I'm going to want it long again. It's the way of the world.

I recently got some long choppy layers so I can have some movement. Soon after I saw an episode of Gossip Girl & was sad because I no longer had Serena hair. Blake Lively is my hair idol but like you, I'm a brunette version. Haha!
But Mandy's hair is cute too...good luck with your decision!

I love Mandy's hair. I was go to here for hair inspiration. I'm almost always going to my salon with a pic of her for either cut or color. I say that if you're feeling it then you should totally go and do it. If not just go in and get a trim with nice long layers. You must post pics if you do it.
I did that last summer. My hair was long, and I was bored with it. I had had the same cut for a looong time. So I went into one of bumble and bumble's free cuts, and decided to chop it off. I instantly was in love with it and wondered why I had never gone short before.

It is short, but not to short, and has lots of movement, love love love it.
I've been craving a hair cut lately. Must be fall. Or new job. Or new town. Or combination of those. Mandy's hair looks cute but I think she needs to seriously reconsider her top in 2nd photo.
