If you saw Twilight this weekend, fess up. Did you like it? Hate it? Did it make you want to have 10,000 of Edward Cullen's babies? Let me know in the comments.
Oh, I confess I saw it at the midnight premier. I really wanted it to be better, but overall I was glad they stayed true to the book (almost too true).
I saw it Friday night. I didn't love, but I didn't hate it. I will totally be purchasing the DVD. Bella was a little annoying, but I loved Edward. I like how they used exact lines from the book at times, but they didn't do it smoothly so it made it a little force. I had things in my head imagined a little differently, but in the end I did like it.
I braved the tweens and dragged my husband on Saturday. I thought it was horrible - totally overacted and apparently they were under the impression they were making a music video.
I didn't see it but I started the book ~ really like it! Different than what I expected, but I'm looking foward to hankering down w/my book again tonight & I haven't been like that in a long time about a book. thanks for the recommendation! Looking forward to hearding more movie reviews! I'll be seeing it soon :)
I say it at midnight on Thursday. I had rather low expectations going into the movie. I was pleased that it was better than I planned. Rob Pattison is so good looking and I thought it was well casted overall. There were some corny parts but what else would you expect. I am excited for the next installments with higher budgets for special effects. The book is still way better.
I heard from friends that the books are quite a bit better, but that generally seems to be the case. It's like H. Potter - the movies aren't as good, but you still can't wait to see them, right? I haven't read these yet, so I'll just have to wait and see!
I have to admit that parts of it made me cringe and the special effects were embarrassing but even with that said I loved it and will probably see it again (and maybe again). As a fan of the book I was really please with the adaptation but don't think it's for the non-readers.
I saw the book with every teenager in town (I'm 37), I didn't read the book, I thought the special effects were a little "eh" but all in all I loved the movie and look forward to reading the books!
I saw it on Friday... I was majoring in film back b4 babies when I was actually going to college. And in all honesty, I was bothered by quite a few parts. But at the end I came to the consensus that the only way I could have ever liked it better would be if Spielberg had done it. It was very entertaining and I'll most likely buy the dvd. My father-in-law loved it, go figure.
I saw it and loved it! I never read the books but wanted to see the movie due to all the hype and it was much better than I had anticipated! I heard they are doing a sequel...excite!
I saw it! I love it, not as much as the book, but that's usually the way that it goes. The book was much better. After the movie, a friend and I analyzed the movie for parts that we didn't like and things that they left out that shouldn't have been. A buyable movie in the end.
A Texas girl with a love of fashion, decor, all things Hollywood, photography, art and pretty things. I live to spend time with my family and friends, eat Mexican food and strawberry cupcakes, cheer for the Longhorns, drink too many Starbucks vanilla soy lattes, shop Anthropologie, read blogs and trashy gossip magazines, play Trivial Pursuit and most of all, be a great mom to my son, Peter.

Or maybe I'm just old.

I LOVED the book and REALLY LIKED the movie ... Rob Pattison is so delicious you could take a bit out of him :)

I have to wait for it to release in Israel - but I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for the head's up.
I didn't have high expectations BUT was pleasantly surprised. I hated the crouching tiger hidden vampire
zip wire special effects...but Edward was
fang-tastic!
