Does The Economy Scare You?

Lately, the state of the economy has been keeping me up at night. Then I get to work this morning and see this story and video and my fears grow exponentially. How about you?

Most definitely! It makes me grateful that we bought our house when we did. We have definitely made some changes. It is such a scary situation!

Absolutely - it's totally frightening! And this image reminds me of a big, giant jar in the Hub's office, that we store our change in... it's supposed to be there for some sort of celebration, we'll see : ) Hopefully.

Since I am self employed and live in an area who's residents have made their money ( and then some ) in businesses other than the ones that are failing, I have a different outlook.

However, if I would have been watching the news everyday 9 which I stopped doing 6 months ago ), I probably would have never started my business and blown my brains out by now.

Keep your chin up, believe in yourself and your skills, learn about the universe and the energy you attract ( if you don't already know ).

My motto is : "Failure is not an option".
Period.

Yes. The state of the economy scares the freaking bejesus out of me. I feel ten years older than I was a year ago today.

It is super scary! I experienced collecting unemployment for the first time in my life last year! Fortunately I found another job, but keeping it is my fear!

Scary indeed, but with an important message behind it. It has happened before, and we were able to overcome it. I know we've heard it a million times before, "what doesn't kill you, will only make you stronger." If you don't have children, be grateful that you won't have to see them go without. If you can downsize in any way which you haven't already done so, I would recommend that you do. Have faith in something, and you'll be ok. Just my take on it. love your blog by the way.

Yes, agreed. It scares me a ton. I got laid off in Oct -but was able to quickly find a job and supplement with writing projects. I'm fearful for the long term and have very very few dinners out!

It freaks me out.. But it depresses me even more :( I get so sad when I hear of places closing down, and businesses going bankrupt.
