At brunch the other morning we ordered a small pastry basket and one of the tiny little treats inside was an orange roll - and immediately I was 5 again. My mom used to get the most amazing orange rolls at a fabulous little bakery and they were one of my favorite Sunday morning breakfast surprises. In case you've never experienced the wonderment of the orange roll - here is a mighty fine looking recipe for them. And if you are in Houston - trot on down to Moeller's Bakery in Bellaire to test drive the orange rolls of my youth. They are heavenly.

Ok, yumm!! Thanks for the recipie!
I've never had an orange roll, but I'm long overdue for baking. Maybe this will be next up! Though I'm afraid I'd eat them all myself.
Oh, man. I'm going to be in Houston soon and I might have to stop by.
Oh my goodness- these look amazing! I've never had one, but now I am going to be searching every bakery in Los Angeles for one! Thanks for the recipe...I will have to try it soon :) XO
Oh Yum! Those look delicious!
Warm gooey orange rolls make my heart smile! I made them for my husband for the first time (how can anyone go 28 years without these?!?) and he didn't like them. I gasped. I am so happy to hear that I am not the only lover of the amazing orange roll. Mmmm.
The title says it all! Love it...and love any excuse to indulge in a childhood treat:)
Those look AMAZING! They remind me of the IKEA ones!
Oh yummy. They serve these at Junior League. I have been known to eat a few of these when volunteering in the kitchen. Happy belated birthday to Doug!
