I'm With The Band

In order to escape what was becoming mom hairdom, I recently had my hair chopped with some kicky little layers. When the hair is styled (not super often these days) it looks awesome. If I'm ponytailing it on mom duty - the layers all fall out and it looks a mess. Lululemon to my rescue. I picked up a few of their headbands over the weekend to keep my hair out of my face while pushing my new jogging stroller around Memorial Park. They are awesomely comfy and better yet - don't leave "headband dent" in your hair afterwards. Lots of colors and styles to choose from too!

Hee hee! I love this post - b/c I, too, just added some "kicky little layers" last week. I thought I was going to hate them - b/c it soooo felt like I had a mullet or something going on... you know, when you run your hand through your hair and it's TOTALLY different? It felt all short, even though it's not.... Anyway. So I'm wanting to know how you keep the adorable headband from popping off? (I've never been able to make those little doo-dad's work in my hair... they always slide off.) I like that they don't leave a "dent", unlike my ponytail holder. :)

I love this! I am about to get my first haircut since my 4 month old was born! Not only will this be a big outing for me, I am so excited to treat myself! However, it is very hard to avoid that dreaded "mom haircut", it seems I yearn for things that will simplify or provide ease in my day to day.
Great post!

i've never bought anything from lululemon, but i have friends that swear it's the best stuff EVER. i use scarfs to tie back my hair when it's not behaving.

Well if it makes you feel any better, I'm not even a mom, and I have the same problem.

But those headbands are adorable! Love the colors.

Super cute post. I love the "mom hairdom". I love that these headbands don't leave "headband dent" - especially since I'm really not a fan of it. =)
