The Emmy Awards were on Sunday night and while the show and red carpet were mostly a snooze - there were still a handful of amazing dresses to admire. My favorites were:

Melrose 2.0

My DVR is on overload - I have tons of TV to catch up on during those early morning feedings. I watched last night's premiere of the new Melrose Place this afternoon. Can't lie - I loved it. Did you watch? Thoughts?

Pardon Me

So sorry for my absence here on the blog. Time escapes me entirely as I now live my life in 3 hour increments consisting of feeding, snuggling, chronic picture snapping and just taking it all in. I'll make more of an effort to make it to the computer - but it's super hard to tear myself away from this:

A little Peter 411:

- He is named after my dad who passed away in 2007

- He weighed in at 8lbs. 6 oz.

- He was nearly 21 inches long

- He has my eyes and his daddy's nose

- He has the most perfect little mouth ever

- He spent his first three nights of life in the Texas Children's Hospital NICU as a precaution  because he was born with the cord wrapped around his neck

- When he smiles or has a hilarious hiccup episode it makes me forget all together my c-section scar

- He makes me happier than I ever thought I  could be

- He makes me fall more in love with my husband every time I see them together

- He helps me remember that life is good and that I am blessed
